DONNA Marathon Weekend Returns Feb. 4-6, 2022

Article

Runners will return to in-person racing for the 15th Annual run to finish breast cancer.

WHAT: DONNA Marathon Weekend, presenting the only marathon in the United States dedicated to breast cancer research and care, returns to in-person racing Feb. 4-6, 2022. This annual event supports The DONNA Foundation, which provides financial assistance and support to families living with breast cancer, funds groundbreaking breast cancer research, and celebrates survivorship.

Now celebrating its 15th year, the theme of the 2022 DONNA Marathon Weekend is “TOGETHER,” celebrating our return to live, in-person events after a challenging year of uncertainty, and how strong we are together. The Foundation is eager to welcome patients, survivors and their supporters back in person to not only work together toward finishing breast cancer, but to be together to celebrate the resilience of the human spirit. Participants and supporters are encouraged to share their plans for DONNA Marathon Weekend with #DONNATogether.

Virtual options will be available for all events in the 2022 Fearless Series, as well, for anyone who wants to support the Foundation’s mission but may not be able or ready to return to the in-person race experience.

“We are so happy to be returning to an in-person race weekend,” said Amanda Napolitano, Executive Director of The DONNA Foundation. “We are strongest TOGETHER, and we look forward to celebrating survivorship and our 15th Anniversary with everyone in Jacksonville Beach this February.”
