Bishoy M. Faltas, medical fellow at Weill Cornell Medical College, explains how the genomic landscape of bladder cancers has an impact on possible treatments for patients.

"We obviously need to identify more biomarkers," he says, which will help researchers and physicians understand the exact genetic make up of each tumor, which can help guide treatment decisions. Clinical trials are now ongoing to help researchers get to that step.
