Every 5 minutes, a woman is diagnosed with 1 of the 5 gynecologic (gyn) cancers – cervical, ovarian, uterine/endometrial, vaginal, and vulvar - totaling more than 115,000 Americans each year.

Move4Her, the Foundation for Women’s Cancer’s (FWC) fundraising campaign, was created to change these numbers. In honor of Gynecological Cancer Awareness Month (GCAM) in September, The FWC will host the first-ever in-person and live streaming Move4Her Fitness and Celebration Event on September 23, 2023 from 10:30am - 12pm EDT at the National Press Club in Washington, DC. Leading fitness experts, including Pure Barre, patients, survivors, advocates, caregivers and world renowned gyn oncologists will be rallying in DC to share inspiring stories and move together to raise awareness and funds for the five gyn cancers.

The event will consist of a unique fitness experience led by professionals featuring 5 different fitness movements lasting 5 minutes each, empowering everyone to stay active and motivated in reaching their fundraising goals through the end of the year.

The annual Move4Her campaign is the FWC’s primary fundraising program that harnesses the collective power of individuals and organizations in support of our mission to eradicate gyn cancers. Move4Her donations power research, education, and awareness of the five gyn cancers. To date, the FWC has awarded more than $10 million in research grants, training grants, research prizes, and career development awards to 254 recipients.
