I am honored to nominate Sanita Burgic, oncology nurse practitioner at Washington University Siteman Cancer Center, for the Extraordinary Healer Award. Burgic consistently exceeds expectations, demonstrating both clinical excellence and deeply compassionate patient care. Her commitment to her work is evident in every interaction, and her presence truly elevates the standard of care within the clinic.

Her expertise in oncology is reflected in her thorough assessments, strong focus on patient education and unwavering adherence to evidence-based practice.
