Sara is a compassionate, kind and caring nurse who is a true advocate for her patients. When patients — women or men — come to the office to meet with the breast surgeons, Sara uses her gifts to create an environment of safety, trust, support and encouragement. Sara addresses the mind, body and spirit of her patients.

Sara diligently works to accommodate patients by creating an organized schedule for the surgeons as she partners with them to provide appointments for as many patients as quickly as she can. This is no small feat for the busy breast surgeons.

Sara played a key role in the successful National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers survey at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, New Jersey, by lending her expertise to the application and acting as a liaison between the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers committee and the breast surgeons. Sara is currently studying to obtain her second national certification through the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation, this one specifically for breast cancer. Sara leaves a lasting impression on her patients due to her caring attitude. She follows up with all of her patients to offer support after their surgery and their procedures to provide information and resources that may be helpful.

Sara is worthy of this recognition. She is a role model to her peers. Sara is a notable oncology nurse.
