YMCA Announces Expansion of LAF Programs

YMCA announces sites that will use the LAF survivorship program.

The YMCA of the USA recently announced plans to extend exercise and wellness programs for cancer patients and survivors, which were created with support from the Lance Armstrong Foundation (LAF), in additional branches in 2009 and 2010.

These branches include: YMCA of Greater Boston, Massachusetts; YMCA of Burlington County, New Jersey; YMCA of Greater Miami Valley, Ohio; YMCA of Cass and Clay Counties, North Dakota; YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne, Indiana; YMCA of Metuchen, New Jersey; YMCA of Snohomish County, Washington; YMCA of Greater Syracuse, New York; New Tampa Family YMCA and Tampa Metropolitan YMCA, Florida; YMCA of Greater Des Moines, Iowa; and YMCA of West Central Florida.
