Unfortunately, there are still no effective screening tools for ovarian cancer that allows physicians to catch the disease earlier and improve outcomes. However, Dorigo is confident that in coming years this will change. There are some exciting things in the pipeline, such as the potential use of a blood test for ovarian cancer, as well as refined ultrasounds that may be able to better visualize a tumor.
