An oncology nurse’s experience with her own cancer journey has made her a strong support system on several levels for patients with cancer.
Diane Snell, RN, is an outstanding example of caregiving and has worked in oncology and other disciplines at Transylvania Regional Hospital, which is part of Mission Health, in Brevard, North Carolina. She is herself a breast cancer survivor and is deserving of any award that recognizes her immense reservoir of compassion, knowledge and physical and spiritual support of her patients.
