CURE recently had the opportunity to visit the Samuel & Josephine Plumeri Wishing Place — the headquarters for the New Jersey chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, an organization that grants wishes, both small and large, to children with critical illnesses.

Tom Weatherall, the president and CEO of Make-A-Wish New Jersey said that it is hard to pinpoint one specific wish that sticks out in his mind. All the wishes granted at Make-A-Wish New Jersey are special, from meet and greets with A-list celebrities, to smaller wishes that are just as meaningful.
